I have been using the Iso 7x for about 5 months every day and my biceps have grown from 12 inches to 16 1/2 inches. I also use a curling strap and do 100 curls with that with each arm daily. The only disappointment is that the ab exercises do not work. I have done all of the ab exercises daily as well and still can't lose the small amount of fat I have had in my stomach. I actually now hold each exercise for a count of 100. When I first began using this equipment, I could barely move it on a low setting. Now I put it on the highest setting for each exercise and hold for count of 100. I also just bought a shake weight at Walmart for 20.00 and I recommend this as well. It works great as an additional workout. I got my Iso 7x for only 20.00 at Sports Authority and that was with a one year warranty. Kurt B.

Just got my ISO7X with the Iron Arms after waiting 2 weeks. First off I love the Iron Arms great workout, easy, not strenuous and felt the exercise working (burn).
The Iso7x handles are of hard plastic and the is of a bar tough aluminum, the straps are nylon. The poster material is good looks and feels strong with waxy front.
Did my first workout and it felt great, again no pain if done as the poster instructs. Although one drawback was that I could not do the exercise for the legs because I couldn't get both feet in at the same time, the straps were very tight, I guess after prolonged use it'll loosen them up. Will need a second person to help me put in my feet and I have no impairments.

I bought online for the ISO Arms, GREAT WORKOUT. If you are into getting ripped for the summer, physical therapy or giving your kids low impact workout so they get stronger for sports this is way better than the $130 that I spend on the family Gym membership...and nobody taken my machine when I look away. I went for the upgradeds and they are worth it, I have been lifting for a while so the normal might not have been as good. Either way it will get you ripped fast if you have the right lifestyle.

I strongly recommend the ISO 7x. I had a bowflex that I decided to sell because how well this small piece of excercise equipment was and how well it worked. I was not out of shape when I started using this but I have gotten stronger since I started using it. I am a conductor on the railroad and I dont much extra time to commit to working out on a regular basis, so this was absolutly perfect for me. I work out about 7 to 10 minutes a day; 4 to 5 times a week and I feel fine. I also received the iron arms but don\'t really use those as much. The only negative about the iso 7x is that the handles are made of plastic and have started to seperate at one of the inside seems. I will probably just put some tape on it and it will be fine though. With that being said, I still believe that the iso 7 x is worth every penny that I spent and will purchase another one when I wear this one out.

I just received mine in the mail yesterday and can't wait to get started!! I've been doing research on Isometrics, and it seems to be a proven system. anyone have any before and after pictures by chance? And, I know it makes you stronger, but will you also bulk up a bit?? Thanks for any replies!

There seem to be some misleading statements posted.

The handles are made of plastic. The tube is made of steel. So to say "It is made of plastic..." is misleading.

As far as "reps" a static hold of 7-10 seconds with 70% of your maximum in any given exercise is what you do.

I been using for a month now and can see a big difference in lean muscle mass. I love it. I do all 36 excerises and now up to holding it for 10sec instead of 7. Just to push my self. I wish they come up with more excerises. I ended up getting the deluxe package with iso arms. And the iso arms is a great tool too to add in the workout.

Now my only con is I wish you can swap out the spring for a heavier one for more resistance.

I still own a Bullworker II. I have had this since the 70"s. Does it work?
I believe it does. Although I was lifting at the time and alot of cardio. Did I get ripped. Sure did.
Glad to see it come back. I just ordered one.
