		<description>Isometric exercises are usually not weight-bearing. This is a static position but has a lot of weight to hold on the hands and arms. Your elbow joints could be hurting from going from no sets to 6 sets of 10 seconds. I would suggest to rest your arms and elbows and ice or heat your elbows. Slow and gradual is my recommendation.</description>

Yes, you are right, isometrics does not put as much strain as normal exercise does.
But, even low level of strain was enough for you.
